Supporting Social and Emotional Development in Early Years Settings
How teachers’ practices and carefully crafted methods support social and emotional development in children during the early years.
Welcome to Mama Hub, your “virtual village” in Dubai. Made specifically for parents in the pre-school years, we’re a go-to space for finding what you need, when you need it.
We know how difficult it is to find relevant, reliable information, classes, activities and support when you’re juggling the demands of tiny humans, so we’ve done it for you!
Check out our handy calendar for a round-up of all the classes, events and workshops happening around the city for babies and toddlers.
Mama Hub playgroups: Our own weekly meet-up/playgroups are an inclusive space for mamas (or Dadas!) to meet new friends while the little ones play. No pressure to book – just drop in anytime and stay for however long you want.

Whether you’re pregnant, thinking about returning to work, or even planning to adopt, it’s important to have a clear picture of your employment rights.
End of Service Gratuity (ESG) is the UAE’s answer to a pension scheme, designed to give employees a financial benefit for each year working. But what does it entail, and who’s entitled?
Mama Hub is a space (online and offline) to support mamas in the early years by helping them find what they need, when they need it. We run free, weekly playdates and whatsapp group to help you make connections, while our website and social media pages help connect you with the relevant information, activities and advice for this age-group.
We are predominantly focused on supporting Mamas in the early years of parenting – with babies, toddlers and children who are pre-school, however mamas of all ages can find support and information within our community.
Yes! Our platform is free to use, and open to everyone.
Our weekly playgroups are designed to create a consistent, safe space that mums (and/or Dads!) can come to meet, connect and play. To keep these as a safe environment for your little ones, we ask a small fee to attend which you can either pay in advance or on the door – so you can decide to drop in whenever you can/want/the nap schedule allows!
While we understand the pressure of finding things for little ones to do in Dubai, we’ve created Mama Meet-Ups as a space for Mums and Dads to meet and connect so we ask that you don’t send your little ones just with their nannies. You are, of course, welcome to bring your nanny with you as an extra pair of hands.
We also have some wonderful nannies on-hand at our playgroups so you can enjoy your coffee while it’s still hot!
We want to make sure that our Mama Meets are consistent so we try to run them as much as possible. However, there are weeks that we are unable to run due to holidays, weather etc. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram to stay updated on the schedule.
As part of our mission to connect mamas with what they need, we’re always on the look-out for businesses that add value to mamas in the early years. If you’re a local business – check out the “List your business” page to find out how you can get involved.
We love supporting small businesses! We offer opportunities to collaborate as well as a specialized small business marketing and communications service to help you with the communications, content and connections you need to move forward. Check out the “List With Mama Hub” to find out more.
Of course! Our Mama Meets are a great way to meet other mums, while our newsletter and Instagram can help connect you with other local events, classes and information as you find your feet.
We currently focused on making our weekly Mama Meets the best they can be but keep an eye on our events page for the latest activities, events and workshops from other groups around the city.
