The early years of parenthood are tough – we get it!
We know how hard it is to cut through the noise and find relevant, trusted and reliable information when you’re juggling the demands of one – or more – young kids. So, we’ve created a go-to destination for classes, events, support and information specifically catered to mums of babies, toddlers and pre-school children in Dubai; a “virtual village”.
We're committed to providing a straightforward, user-friendly platform without the clutter; a useful, relevant tool to simplify the lives of mums.
Our listings are reliable, relevant, and verified by mums of young children themselves so you can trust what you find.
Our space and community is free-to-use and open to everyone who needs it, without judgement or negativity.
Hi, I’m Rachel, a mum of two little ones and step-mum to three “big ones”. When I moved to Dubai at 7-months pregnant and with a toddler in tow, I was overwhelmed. Busy with work, parenting and seemingly endless paperwork, I needed to easily and quickly find things – and people! – that would help me adjust to motherhood in a new country. I knew that Dubai offered amazing activities, classes, events and services for mums with young kids but I struggled to find them without scrolling social media or relying on word-of-mouth.
The more I spoke to people, the more I realised I wasn’t alone – even with those who’d called Dubai home for longer. And, what started as a simple spreadsheet of “things to do and places to go”, quickly grew to what we now call Mama Hub: a go-to destination for trusted activities, classes, events and support all specifically catering to mums of babies, toddlers and pre-school aged children in the city.
At the same time, I wanted to create a reliable, inclusive in-person space where people could make real connections without the pressure and judgement that so often comes with motherhood in the early years – and so our weekly playgroups were born!
I know firsthand the weight of the mental load – my hope is that Mama Hub can help ease the burden.
